How to know if my car still have the interceptor?

I have a 99 crown Vic ford police interceptor. I know they strip the car of all the cool police car do they do that to the interceptor? I mean I kinda don't know what the interceptor do except for make the car accelerate faster Iguess. Can someone also explains what it do?

It does the differences between CV and CVPI is the interceptor is upgraded engine and suspension parts that allow it perform better as a cop car. This includes faster acceleration, bigger alternator, beefier suspension parts, and a cheap but highly functional interior. None of this stuff is removed generally and if it was you wouldn't be able to drive the car anyways.

Its a more powerful engine and they can't remove that when they sell police cars.

You make me laugh my XXX off

The interceptor is a more powerful engine than the standard model. They don't replace the engine.

In theory it should have more power than a standard Ford modular V8, but some car reviewers have questioned that and say they can't feel the difference.
