How much is my used car worth?

I have a 1994 ford thunderbird. It has a 4.6 liter V8. The engine runs great. No issues there. Has some rust but can be fixed. The hood and trunk lid needs some paint. Head liner inside car needs replaced. Just cosmetic problems. How much is it worth right now? Also, how much would it be worth if i fixed those things listed above?

Blue book value for good condition is around $1500.

1500 for good but that's if you fix problems. Poor condition which this falls under due to the rust, faded paint and head liner about 800 bucks. So spend the money to get it to 1500 or just let it go and let the next guy worry about repairs

Look it up on kbb. Use 95 or 96 if they don't go back to 94.

A vehicle's value can be much more (to you), than the price you can get for resale. However, if it gets wrecked, only its wholesale (trade in value to a dealer, in poor condition) is used for calculating repair value, which makes many minor accidents for older vehicles a total loss.

You'll spend $800+ to bring up its value by $200. However, it may improve more than that, in personal value for you, as functional, useful transportation, and looking good for another 10+ years, if you take care of it.

Remember to start now, saving $100/week toward replacing it, when the time comes. Within 3-5 years, you'll have sufficient funds to buy a decent replacement, if you want to, without falling into the debt trap.

For a car that old, it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.
