How much does it cost to restore a classic car?
I have a 1964 ford Falcon Futura, and my budget is within $15,000 in the state of NC
It all depends on your skill, how your workshop is equpped, and the shape of the car.
If it is rust free and the drivetrain doesn't need much work and interior is somewhat intact, could be within your budget.
Nah you can't afford it. Just send the falcon on down here
If you have to ask, you can't afford to restore a classic car.
If it was in NC all of its life, it is a rust bucket.
I'll do it for $14,999
- Why don't car companies remake some of their classic car models if people like them so much? Of course safety is in mind because everyone would freak out if they didn't have a seat belt and air bags in every inch of the car, but why can't some of the companies just remake their best selling car models? Dodge could remake their 1948 Sedan and Ford could remake their 1949 Custom. I could list more but I can't think of any more classics.
- Old classic cars vs newer classic cars? I'm looking at a 1974 corvette stingray and I'm thinking about buying it but at the same time i've been looking at f-body and fox body camaros and mustangs I need help narrowing down my decision so I would like to hear your opinions on whether to get the 74 stingray or the f- body and fox body mustangs
- I'm 15 and i want to restore a car? I want to restore a 1966 or 67 ford mustang but i either want help restoring it or for someone to teach me over the next couple of years and i need to find places to look for a old style mustang thats not over priced and how much will it probably cost to restore one in about 2 in a half years
- How much upkeep do classic muscle cars require? I have loved classic American muscle cars all my life and have finally got to a stage where I can afford one. But I don't want to invest if I won't have the time to keep it in top working condition. How much maintenance work/costs does it roughly require to keep cars like a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro or 1967 Ford Mustang in good working order?
