Help me with this economics question involving stocks?

1. Giving a brief explanation, determine the likely effect of each of the following on the value of GM stock.(Consider each event independent of the others.)

a. The Federal Reserve lowers both the "discount" rate and the Federal Fund rate.

b. The rising unemployment rate signals a slow-down in the economy.

c. The value of the US dollar has significantly gone up against most currencies, making American products more expensive to foreigners while making imports cost less to American consumers.

d. The United States signs a free trade agreement with European Union.

e. Ford Company reaches an agreement with the auto workers union.

f. It has been reported that there are signs that the European recessions is coming to an end.

It will stimulate the stock market because the bond yield has been reduced because of that policy. The rising unemployment rate will slow down the FED to raise the rate again. If so the dollar will flow out of the country to the emerging markets. Dollar will be weak.

  • Stocks fall on trade news, weak jobs report. Ford recalls trucks, SUVs over gear indicator. How's Trump going to try and spin this? Stocks fall because of his tariffs threat to China. He's not creating jobs like he claimed he would. Deregulation only hurts the consumers.
  • Question about ford crown victoria fuel tanks? I have a 2001 crown victoria police interceptor. I'm trying to install a new fuel tank. Problem is that the new tank has a different style hole on top for the pressure valve regulator. Can I just use the newer style regulator that will fit the new tank or some kind of adaptor for the stock valve? Does anyone know where I can find a tank like the original, it has a recessed hole with tabs for that valve?
  • My question is about storing a car outside in the winter for a few months? I live in northern Minnesota but I always go south for the winter for about 3 or 4 months. I've got a 2001 Ford Mustang V6 with a hundred and thirty-five thousand miles. I'm planning on leaving it in a friend's backyard for the winter. Is there any precautions I can take in order for the vehicle to not be dead upon my return. I heard turning it on and letting it run once a week will help?
