Tesla Model S. It has the best overall specs of just about any car on earth.
it has seating for 5 adults and 2 children making it essentially a minivan.
on top of the already huge trunk, the Tesla also has a front trunk (called a frunk) for extra storage. The Model S has the best storage room of any car in its class by a long shot.
the Tesla Model S is also very safe. It's aluminum chassis is so strong that during the IIHS tests, the chassis was so strong that during the roof drop test, the car broke the testing machine. Eventually they concluded that you can drive a model S with 4 more Model Ss on the roof without it crushing in.
The Model S is also luxurious. It has a very comfortable air suspension that lets it glide smoothly over the road. Inside, you'll find an amazing technological masterpiece. A 17 inch touch screen that allows you to control just about everything. You can even use it for browsing internet.
One of the best things about the Model S is that it's also fast. Thanks to its massive torque, the Model S is extremely quick. It's faster in acceleration than a BMW M5. Most electric cars have been known to be a bit slow and dreadful as sports cars but the model S with RWD and a ton of power is actually quite good. In addition to this, the battery placement being so low to the ground makes the car quite good for handling.
The tesla also has great ownership features. For example its maintenance plan. Lasting up to 8 years, the top level maintenance plan has mechanics from tesla go to your house for maintenance. Along with its unlimited mile drivetrain warranty and supercharger network, the Tesla is a car that requires very little sacrifice from its owners. Where other electrics with a much shorter range require the owners to always be mindful of their range and long charging time, the tesla doesn't have that issue as much.
all together, the tesla is large, safe, luxurious, fast, efficient and easy to own. It's the best car in the world.
sure there are faster cars, larger cars, more luxurious cars but none of them do so many things as well like the tesla does.
that or the BMW i8 cause its super sporty and efficient for a lower price than an Audi R8 V8. It also looks awesome.
- What will take you to buy a all electric car. What minimum range would you like? I'm looking at the Detroit car show and gm and ford are really pushing electric and self driving cars. I'm wondering how most people will pay for one of these cars.
