Where can I buy a car battery online?
This is for my father, he wants to get a car battery for his 2009 Ford fusion V8 and is hoping he can buy one online cheap (under $100). We live in NS, Canada so it needs to be Canadian sites only.
Then Google it and find out for yourself.
Most auto parts stores have web-sites.
It'll cost a fortune to ship, more than buying one at a parts store.
If you what to purchase online and have shipped directly to your Canadian address Amazon.ca would be a wise choice for purchase.
Otherwise, simply buy the applicable battery from a NS, Canada area auto parts store, either online or in person, for pick up.
You may be able to BUY a battery online, but it can't be SHIPPED to you by normal mail or UPS. Batteries are considered to be hazardous material and need special handling.
He is way better off buying from a local store. You will save shipping costs. Also what if the battery arrives in a defective condition? You will then have to ship it back which will add another cost. Never buy a battery online.
Batteries are VERY HEAVY and will cost a small fortune to ship. Considering the shipping, you ll save money by buying at a local auto parts dealer. Don't know about Canada but in the US most major chain auto parts stores will actually install your new battery for free and give you credit for your old battery, which they take off your hands.
In short, buying a car battery online is simply not a good idea.

Amazon or Ebay. But beware of cheap batteries. They will cost more in the long run. You are in Canada. You need reliable batteries.
