What kind of SUV should I buy?
I currently have a 2013 Ford Fusion that has given me an array of problems. We're wanting a mid-sized SUV, like a Hyundai Sante Fe Sport, Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 etc. I don't need high tech or fancy and can't afford the luxury kind. Just one that has good gas mileage, reliable for years to come, easy to drive and one that has clear sight lines. With my current car, I can barely see out of it simply to back up. Also, any suggestions can be a couple years old.
I have been buying Subarus for years and am very happy with them. My Forester lasted me a bit over 16 years. I wanted to buy a new one when it died, but they're too big. It literally wouldn't fit in my garage. I have a 2015 Crosstrek and am happy with it. But check out the Forester or Crosstrek and see if they appeal to you. Subaru is a solid brand.
I might get some flak for saying this but… I'll just say it because I don't care!
Anyhow, here goes:
Get… A… Bloody… Mini… Van…
Capeesh?
They're just… Oh so practical than any mid-size crossover SUV, period. Otherwise; just get a mid-size sedan like a Prius and be happy.
Cross-overs don't make sense. They're like sedans, albeit taller, higher center of gravity, worse handling, acceleration and fuel economy.
Nah.
Here's something to restore your faith in mini vans
I have a Nissan Pathfinder. I think it is great.
Every SUV has rear posts which make them difficult to back up. I always use all three mirrors to back up. Any of those three SUVs is a good vehicle.
- What kind of car should I get? How much will it cost? I want a convertible and a truck. Don't go telling me that's too expensive because I just want to get a price range and opinions at this point. Convertible: Used or new. Red, white, silver, black, dark blue. TOYOTA, HONDA. Truck: Used or new. Sliver, red, black. TOYOTA, HONDA, CHEVY, RAM, FORD. Which is best? What are the costs on all of these BRANDS?
- What kind of car should I buy? With a budget of about 2,500 for my first car, I'm deciding between a 2002 Mazda Protege with about 150,000 miles, a 2004 Suzuki Forenze with about 135,000 miles, a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix with about 140,000 miles, a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer with about 160,000 miles and a 2001 Ford Taurus with about 130,000 miles. I want a car that is fuel efficient yet stylish, so please leave any suggestions from the cars listed above.
- Need help weighing the pros and cons of what kind of camper van to buy? So I plan on moving down to Nashville and living in a van in the very near future. I'm on the fence between 2. The first option is a 1988 Ford e350 diesel dually ambulance that has been fully converted. Running water, inverter, heat, ac. Pretty much everything in an rv besides a toilet. My second option is getting a cargo van and converting it or just getting one of those conversion Van's. I'm just not sure what my best bet is.
- Should I buy a Ford Focus Zx3 or should I look for a different car? I'm a male going to college as a sophmore next semester (this car will be my first car). Should I buy a stick or an automatic (I don't know how to drive a stick at the moment, but I'm willing to learn)? What do you think would be more fun? Do you think a ford focus Zx3 is a good car for me or do you have any other car suggestions?
