What cars are similar in size to the Ford Fusion?
Looking for a car higher off the ground but not much longer/wider than a fiesta.
The fiesta is a sub compact car so the fusion is a midsize much longer and wider. Cars similar to the fusion would be; The Dodge Avenger, Chrysler 200, Chevrolet Malibu, Honda Accord, Toyota Camry. Cars similar to the Ford Fiesta are, Kia Rio, Chevrolet Sonic, Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris, Fiat 500.
Ignore US answers (such as Evan1994), as the US-market Fusion is similar to our Mondeo, and a very different car to the European Fusion, which was based on the Fiesta.
Similar taller cars based on B-segment (Fiesta-sized) platforms are:
Mazda2 2002-2007 (shared the Fiesta platform, European versions were actually built by Ford, using Ford engines etc.)
Ford B-Max (effectively the replacement for Fusion)
Renault Modus
Citroen C3 Picasso
Hyundai Matrix
Hyundai ix20
Kia Venga
Vauxhall Meriva (although this is slightly larger)
Skoda Roomster
Fiat Idea
Toyota Yaris Verso
Toyota Verso-S
Nissan Note (2005-2012 versions)
Honda Jazz
Kia Soul
or you could go for a passenger version of a small van such as:
Renault Kangoo
Fiat Qubo
Citroen Nemo
Peugeot Bipper Tepee
Ford Tourneo Courier
Or, if seat height from the ground is more important than actual space, and you are looking a newer cars, look at one of the newer small "crossover" cars:
Renault Captur
Peugeot 2008
Nissan Juke
Ford Ecosport
Chevrolet Trax
Vauxhall Mokka
- Aren't you amazed by the capabilities and the size of today's full-size pickup trucks? I drive a 2011 Ford Ranger XLT 4x2 with a 4.0 liter V6 (~245 ci.) engine. I was looking up the specs for early-mid 1960s F100s (considered full-size), and they have nearly the same GVWR, towing capacity, payload, horsepower, wheelbase, and height as my "compact" truck. In your opinion, do you think today's full-size trucks are amazing or too fancy/over-sized (a traditionalist like me)? P.S.: I like all American vehicles
- Cars similar to Volvo s40? I know they no longer sell sell them in the US. My 2004 decided 300 thousand miles was enough so it died. I would like to buy a premium compact car like Volvo but everything is too big. I mean I can drive bigger but I don't need the room my kids are old so roomy backseat is not necessary. A friend of mine suggested a Ford Focus Titanium which had everything and more than my old Volvo. Is that a good choice? Or is there a better option?
- Cars similar to a ford focus? So my 2000 Ford focus just gave out and I need to start looking for another car, I really liked my Ford focus size I liked how small it was does anybody know any cars that are similar to it?
- Is a 2001Ford Escape's engine the same or at least similar to a 2002/2004 Ford Escape? My car is overheating and I've changed my radiator, thermostat, and reservoir and now I'm down to the water pump. I found a video on YouTube for removing the water pump and I think it was on a 2004 Escape or an 02. But I drive a 2001 Ford Escape XLT V6 3.0L 2WD and I need to know if the engines are the same or at least similar. I need to know if the water pump is in the same place?
