TRANSMISSION PROBLEM! Input is appreciated?

The check clutch/transmission light came on in my car while I was driving home last night. It's a 2007 Ford Fusion (V6, AWD) it started delaying when I accelerate. I did a little googling and the answers seem to point to a fuel pump problem? I do plan on calling and taking it in to a mechanic to check it out but I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what this issue could mean and if it is the fuel pump, would my transmission check light come on?

Check trouble codes with a scan tool. And no, it is not a fuel pump problem.

  • Car acceleration problem and idle problem. The car is a 2003 Ford Taurus? . When the car is running and in parked its making a loud consisted rev noise. However the rpm needle thingy is not moving. when i'm in drive the car acclerates on its own with the speed ever increasing. i did some googling and learned that it can be the TPS sensor or the idle air intake valve, among a million other possiblities.
  • Where is the Auxiliary Audio Input on a 2014 Ford Fusion SE? I was told it was under the passenger seat somewhere, but can't seem to find it anywhere for the life of me! Checked the dash, middle console, and middle compartment! Anyone got a detailed answer please?
  • No aux input on 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid? I just rented a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid and there doesn't seem to be a hole for the aux cable? I opened the center console and there's a white hole, a yellow hole, and red hole. The aux cable doesn't fit into any of them. What's going on here? Is there any place else I can find it? There's no one to help me at this time. The car rental locations close by are closed and I have a 6-hour drive ahead of me through the middle of nowhere.
  • Is 215,000 miles too much? Opinions on the Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition are appreciated as well? I'm looking at buying a 2002 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition and it's in good shape. I haven't test drove it yet. The only down side is the mileage. If it runs good is it ok to buy? And does anyone know anything about the car?
