Tell me ways that I can firm up the suspension for my car? Also, what particular brand of tires?
I drive a Ford Fusion btw. I want to be able to feel the road more.

Presuming the air in the tyres is at the correct pressure then nothing you can do, I drive a Ford Fusion Zetec
1. Get bigger rims with a lower series tire. For example if your car has 16 inch rims with a 60 series tire, put on 18 inch rims with 40 series tires. Less rubber between the wheel and the road will firm it up quite a bit. 2. Put on better shocks. 3. If it does not have antisway bars, put those on. 4. Do not expect sport car like handling from a Fusion.
