Recently repaired a transmission line on 2007 ford fusion that was leaking
The Hose was repaired but now it shifts into reverse hard and takes a while to shift to the other gears. Shifting from reverse to drive takes like 2 seconds. Can some this be a result of not having enough fluid?
NO
Yes, that's a distinct possibility. In fact those are classic symptoms of insufficient fluid.
Have you checked it to make sure its not low?
If it isn't low, i would say youve got major trans. Problems in the near future.
Could be - could be that the fluid is not getting through the new line properly
HKL
Yes… Haven't you checked the ATF level yet?!
Haven't you even bothered to CHECK THE FLUID?
FAIL. Go check the fluid level before wasting more time here.
The transmission has a dipstick to measure how much fluid is in there and you check the stick while the engine idles in PARK on level ground. Pull the stick, wipe with rag and reinsert it back into the hole all the way down wait 3 seconds and pull it out and check to see where the level is on the dipstick. If it needs more the fluid goes down the dipstick tube while the dipstick is out and you use those LONG FUNNELS. Those are specifically for auto transmissions. Try not to overfill it, for over full also causes problems.

- Why did my Ford E350 box truck start leaking transmission fluid? So I left my truck and didn't drive it for about a week or two and 2 days ago I noticed a huge leak that came from the transmission. I'm really curious as to why it happened since I didn't drive it for these two weeks and it happened just recently. What is going on? Bad seals? Hot weather made it start seeping through? I checked the fluid levels and they look fine to me. Advice?
- Is a dealership the best place to get my car repaired? I have a 2014 Ford vehicle that I haven't even had for a year yet. Someone rear ended me and now I have to take it in to repair the damage. The other persons insurance is covering the cost. Since the car is not even a year old, I want to make sure that I get OEM parts installed. Is taking it to the Ford Dealership my best bet or will I be fine taking it to a respected independent? I just want to make sure I get it back the same way it was before.
- No line-in option showing up for 2007 Ford Fusion? I have my phone plugged into the the aux input, but when i press the aux button on the radio it cycles through sat 1, 2, and 3 without ever switching to the line-in option. How can i get this option to show up?
