How can I tell if I need a REAR wheel alignment?

I have a front-wheel drive Ford Fusion. Obviously you can tell if you need a front-wheel alignment by seeing if the car drifts straight or not, or if your steering wheel tilts, or by uneven tread wear. But how do I tell if I need a REAR-wheel alignment?

(Yes I capitalize "rear" because so many people answer this question without paying attention)

2012 Ford Fusion sunroof and windows open randomly

There have been 3 occurrences in the last month where I will go out to my vehicle to find the sunroof and both front windows all the way open. The doors are always locked, keys not in it. Is this an issue with a fuse?

How to fix rear trunk speakers?

My car got totaled and I owe more than what the car is worth without gap insurance?

So my car got totaled (2014 Ford Fusion) and I owe more than it's worth. I'm only 19 and have no idea how all this works and having a hard time getting info out of the insurance company. I don't have gap insurance so how does this work? Will they only send me a check for how much the car was worth before the wreck? And then make me pay off the rest of the loan? What if I got the check and went to a dealership and said look I have this check, pay off the loan and I'll give you the check and add the remainder onto the loan of a new car? Can they do something like that? I'm stressing cause I just spent a good portion of my savings on getting a house and then this happened. (Wasn't even my fault, I wasn't even in the car, someone ran into my car In a truck going like 40)
