That would depend on the power consumption of the amplifier and the capacity of your car to provide auxiliary electrical power. My understanding is that on a 2014 Fusion Hybrid the maximum sound system load including head unit can only be 25 amps (about 350 watts rms, 700 watts peak power) unless you want to perform expensive upgrades to the electrical system. Therefore, unless your subs and amp are rated less than 500 watts rms, I wouldn't chance it.

- No aux input on 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid? I just rented a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid and there doesn't seem to be a hole for the aux cable? I opened the center console and there's a white hole, a yellow hole, and red hole. The aux cable doesn't fit into any of them. What's going on here? Is there any place else I can find it? There's no one to help me at this time. The car rental locations close by are closed and I have a 6-hour drive ahead of me through the middle of nowhere.

- Amplifier connected straight to battery with on/off switch would damage battery in any way? So i did this on my ford fusion 2016 straight connected to the battery with the on/off switch but now the car does not want to start as before makes a little noise like when battery its dead but turn on after 3 to 4 seconds any suggestions?
