Is Ford going to stop making cars and just switching over to SUVs and Trucks? That would stink since I love the Ford Fusion and Taurus?

Basically, yes
Yes, except for the Mustang.
"… Ford will continue to offer plenty of options. By 2020, its small-vehicle lineup will include the Focus Active, a redesigned Escape, the EcoSport…

They will always make cars
No. Outside of the USA, Ford sells far more than just SUVs and trucks.
Models like the Ka, Fiesta, Focus and Mondeo are very popular in Europe. Their best-selling US-model, the F-150, isn't even officially sold over here as it's simply too big, too crude, and too thirsty for most Ford customers outside America.
As I understand it, they are cutting back production of their big family sedans because there's little demand for those types of cars in the USA. They will continue the Ford Focus and build more SUVs and pickup trucks because that's what is selling. (Also the most profit for the company). General Motors is also cutting back production on big sedans.
No. They make all kinds of vehicles.
But the North American market for some reason doesn't like cars. People need space for 'stuff'. They think they need AWD (they don't… Not even going through mountains in the winter). They have a macho image to maintain.
Also, "domestic" manufacturers have a tough time competing with "import" cars… Where they are built under the pressure of high taxes for larger vehicles and funded by a larger market. The Focus and Fusion compete because they are designed in Europe. The Cruze is ok because it's designed in South Korea. But the Dart and 200 are outright terrible even with Fiat's expertise… Like something a high school kid slapped together the night before for a science project.
They will make what they can sell & make a profit.
Ford will continue to sell cars outside of North America but in North America, they will phase out all cars except for the Mustang and instead concentrate on pick-ups, SUV's and CUV's.
But the automotive market sees trends come and go all the time so maybe Ford will bring back cars at some point in the future.
Yes, at least in the US.
- Why is everyone in america buying trucks and suvs? It seems small cars are dying. And i heard ford and chevy is getting rid of there small cars. But why are most people buy overpriced suvs and trucks if you can get a small hatchback or sedan much cheaper and it is much more economical?
- When did they stop making T-Bucket Ford cars? I was talking to my friend about T-Bucket cars and I was wondering if you knew what year they stopped making them. I looked it up on Google and didn't find anything.
- I have a 2000 Ford Taurus Sedan that has a screeching metal on metal sound when switching gears to reverse? And the sound is there the entire time you are backing up. Does this sound like a transmission issue? Also hearing a rubbing noise in the steering, and it is a little tight, any idea what that could be? Also heater blows, but not real strong and no heat comes out… Does that sound like a difficult and expensive fix? And could the heater or any of the above issues cause my engine light to light up solid continuously? The car runs pretty good aside from these issues.
- Stocks fall on trade news, weak jobs report. Ford recalls trucks, SUVs over gear indicator. How's Trump going to try and spin this? Stocks fall because of his tariffs threat to China. He's not creating jobs like he claimed he would. Deregulation only hurts the consumers.
