Added (1). My wife has been looking at it because she wants something nicer than the car she is driving when we loan her high mileage Prius to our son until he is 25 can afford to insure his own car. She will also be likely to transport people to church and doctor appointments. So a mix of practical and midlife crisis car ;-)

It is a very expensive car to buy but the Ford Fusion is a good car.
Are you buying this car for the gas mileage or are you buying it because you want a Ford Fusion? Because you can get better gas mileage in the non hybrid VW Passat TDI than you can a hybrid Ford Fusion.
It's pretty overpriced. Believe it or not, you'll be saving more money buying the regular Ford Fusion.
As mccoyblues stated, if you want better gas mileage, get a VW that has a TDI (diesel) logo on it. You'll get just as good (if not better) gas mileage than you with a hybrid, without the sacrifice of power.
- Sell current lease car to buy a new car? Good idea? So I live in CT and I wanted to know if this could be possible. I was told that if I wanted to I could sell my leased 2016 Ford Fusion energi to a spot like CarMax a couple of months before the lease was done and if they would offer a higher price then the remaining amount owed on my lease I could do that and pay off the lease and then keep the extra money as a down payment towards the purchase of another car?
- No aux input on 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid? I just rented a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid and there doesn't seem to be a hole for the aux cable? I opened the center console and there's a white hole, a yellow hole, and red hole. The aux cable doesn't fit into any of them. What's going on here? Is there any place else I can find it? There's no one to help me at this time. The car rental locations close by are closed and I have a 6-hour drive ahead of me through the middle of nowhere.
