If its such a bad thing to put led/hid in a projector housing then why does ford do it with the newer explorer/f150/fusion?
Older priuses had them and so did older acuras
If you mean is it bad to do that yourself with an aftermarket product? Then generally yes because the new bulb wasn't designed to work with that car's optics. Both are tailored to each other to a *very* fine degree. When a manufacturer does that they're creating a whole new headlight system designed around one another, they aren't just inserting a different type of bulb or light source.
I think you mean reflector not projector
- Why does Michigan have such a heavy automotive influence? I know I may sound kind of stupid asking this but it's been bugging me for awhile. GM, Ford, and Chrysler all have their headquarters in Michigan and mainly produce and manufacture cars their so I d just like to know why.
- Ford ranger with projector headlights? I just bought a 2002 ford ranger for work and I was looking to install new headlight (projector) but I can only seem to find ones with halos around them. Can the halos be turned off? They are over played and cheesy lol.
- How to install HID bulbs for my 2014 ford fusion? I have a 2014 ford fusion and I want to install low beam HID bulbs in place of the stock halogen ones. Is there a way to do this without removing the whole front bumper? I know it's tough to squeeze the headlight out but it's gotta be done.
- Can I put HIDS in my after market headlight housing? I have aftermarket halo headlights on my ford focus. I don't like the halogen lights and want to put in HIDS but there's a sticker that says no hids is this just a legality thing or should I really not put them in? Will it melt the housing? you can see them in this video
