How do i turn headlights on in a 2011 ford fusion?

Twist the end of the left hand stalk.

With the headlight switch…

Try looking on your turn signal arm.

On Fords the headlight switch is usually on the left side of the dashboard. If you turn the knob all the way to the right, the lights are automatic, you don't have to turn them off (I don't know how long Ford has used that kind of switch. Older models had the switch you pull to turn on.)

Owners manual has all kinds of useful info

The switch is on the dashboard and they can be set to automatic

  • My Ford Transit headlights turn on in off position and turn off in the on position? I'm a new driver, just passed my test. My van has some issue with the lights: namely, the lights turn off in the on position when the dash lights come on, and turn on when they are supposed to be off. This means that I'm driving at night without dash lights as I need to have the lights switched off in order for my headlights to be on. Might this be an electrical issue? Would anybody be able to give me advice and possibly know how much this costs to repair?
