For someone who works at Ford?
I'm wanting to buy a 2010 Ford Fusion and it'd be great if somebody gave me their pin for the x-plan.
Added (1). People are able to give you their discount… My brother in law posted in a mustang forum a request to use someone's x plan discount, and someone responded… He was able to get the employee discount price. Employees have 4 pin numbers allowed a year to give out to people buying Ford vehicles.
Added (2). Yet again… Ford workers who use their discounts do not get fired. They are allowed 4 a year in order to promote the Ford vehicles. Check out www.Ford.com and you will see.
Added (3). To the two people who don't know what they're talking about, here is the link… Notice it doesn't say family only, it's known as the friends and neighbors discount, and like my earlier statement clearly says, my brother in law got the discount from someone who replied to a forum.

Added (4). People who are answering seriously don't know how to read… The link clearly says FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS discount. Somebody I know who is NOT related to a Ford employee was able to get it. Especially in this economy, Ford wants to sell cars.

For people who claim to be Ford employees, they know little about the program.
A Plan is for active Ford employees and their immediate families - this is NOT the discout for you.
Z Plan is for Ford retirees and their immediate families - likewise, you can't get it
X PLAN - THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT.
Each Ford employee/retiree gets six (6) X-Plan PINs per year to award to whomever they choose. The employee will need your full name, address, and last four digits of your social security number.

Or, if you have any shares of Ford (F) common stock, you can apply to Ford Shareholder Services for an X-Plan PIN - this may actually be easier, you only need 1 share (about $8) and a stamp!

LOL, seems like none of these guys knows what they are talking about. I work at the Ford dealership in CA, and yes we do have the friends and neighbors discount. Unfortunately, I just gave a friend of mine my last discount for the year. We're allowed 4 pins a year for the X Plan. Good luck, if you don't find one by the end of the year, I'd def. Be able to give mine in Jan. Also, there are newer models coming out in the beginning of 2010, so be sure to check those out as well.
There's a reason that A-Z plan is only for Ford employees and their family… Someone isn't going to help you if you aren't family… Sorry:/

- Car won't start, power works and makes a single click noise? I have a 93 ford Taurus. When I try to start my car, it was just making a single click noise and then would eventually start after I tried a couple more times. The other day it wouldn't start, still made the single click noise, I tried a couple more times and now it doesn't make the noise at all. The power works, my headlights don't dim or anything like that. I've had my car jumped and that still didn't work so I'm curious as to what it could be?
- I have a 2000 dodge caravan and the rear heat works great but the front heat blows cold? The blower motors all work fine, has new water pump and brand new coolant. The top vents in the dash blow lukewarm warm but if you switch it to defrost it comes out ice cold but the rear heat still blows super hot air. Coolant level is full. I've read about the blend door could that be the issue? Could a coolant line to the front dash be clogged? I'm a ford mechanic but kinda stumped and have never worked on a dodge.
- How does a trade-in works at a company? My car is financed and still has 10000 to go. Lets say i wanna trade it in for a brand new car at ford which costs 31,500. if they value my car for 8000 dollar, how would they calculate it? Will they take off 8000 of the original price and add 2000 dollars or would they just add 2000 dollars to the original price? 10000 *dollars*
- Ford F 450, 1997, gas gauge works, but switch won't go the second rear tank? I replaced the switch same thing, only reads front tank and rear tank stays full. I had the solenoid replaced on the frame 15 months ago, could that be bad again, that is over $400? I have two gas tanks, front and rear. Switch won't switch to rear tank? Reads front tank only, even when switched to rear tank. I replaced the switch, cost $62. The rear tank is full, Edith. It is full because I can't access the fuel.
