Car vents suddenly blowing no air after airbag recall?
I picked up my 2012 Ford Fusion from an airbag recall fix this morning and now suddenly my vents are not blowing any air! I'm taking it back to the dealership this afternoon, but I'm worried they will tell me if has nothing to do with the work they did. But I know for a fact they were working when I dropped my car off. And when I picked it up, I tried turning my heat on right away… Nothing. I tried turning it to AC. Nothing. How could this have happened with an airbag recall?
Vents were working before recall work? Vents not working after recall work? Then you take it back to the dealer and have them fix it.
I don't know but, they are responsible for the repair they did and if it caused other damages, be firm about their taking responsibility for it.
They messed up. They'll be able to fix it and that's what they should do. You should have not taken the car without them making this right. A lot needed to be disassembled to do the airbag work and it all needed to be put back together right. They know what they did and they know how to fix it.
Sounds like they pulled a fuse and forgot to put it back. Usually not a big deal, if they don't behave go home and phone corporate customer service.
They knocked something loose or failed to reconnect when they were wrestling around there.
The only thing that might have happened when replacing the passenger side air bag is they could have knocked the vent tube off. If the blower fan is not working it's just a coincidence.
- On my 2000 ford mustang why does my air pump (smog pump) only blow air for 5 seconds after start up? Is that normal? I have p0411 secondary air injection system insufficient flow detected. I've checked the hose that comes out from the pump, it's blowing air but I believe it should blow air for much longer than 5 seconds on start up.
- Why do passenger vents not blow air on my 2000 F150? I have 2000 ford f150 single cab and the a/c vents on the passenger practically don't blow air. You could literally barely feel any coming out while the two vents on the drivers side seem to blow as normal. I don't know if the vents are maybe clogged or if there's an electrical issue or something else. I just need some direction as to where and what to look for or a good diagnostic. I hope y'all can help because this texas heat is no joke.
- I hear air blowing out of my air intake, when I trie to start my 96 Ford F-150? Me and a friend recently replaced the head on my 96 Ford F-150, straight 6. The old head cracked cause it ran hot. When we trie to start it, it sounds good like its about to start but stops when air blows out of the air intake. The distributer was not removed and the plug wires and spark plugs are right, baterey is good. What did we do wrong? Why will it not start?
- Why are my AC vents blowing so weak? 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. I just changed the AC actuator. Not as bad a job as i thought. Anyway my AC vents blow so weak I can barely feel it with my hands against them, no matter the fan setting. Floor and defrost blow great. Any ideas?
