Are hybrid cars worth it?

I see a good deal on a 2016 Ford Fusion hybrid.

Whether something is worth it or not is a purely subjective opinion. I suggest you do your own research to find out if it's worth it to you.

That depends on what "worth it" means to you. Buy what you can afford to pay for and maintain.

Toyotas are. Mine is going in for it's 100,000 mile service, and have never had any problem with it.
Oil changes are every 10K miles under "normal" driving conditions per the owner's manual.

Do some research on line before buying. Ford hasn't been making hybrids very long, but Toyota has been making them for more than 20 years now.

  • No aux input on 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid? I just rented a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid and there doesn't seem to be a hole for the aux cable? I opened the center console and there's a white hole, a yellow hole, and red hole. The aux cable doesn't fit into any of them. What's going on here? Is there any place else I can find it? There's no one to help me at this time. The car rental locations close by are closed and I have a 6-hour drive ahead of me through the middle of nowhere.

I'm looking at getting a ford fusion hybrid, but every dealer I have checked does not have an S model and I was told by one guy that the hybrid does not come in the S model. It shows one when I look for it online through the ford website, is there a reason why none of the dealers carry it? Or am I missing something?
  • Are luxury brand cars really worth the extra money? When all the "regular" cars are so good now? Like look at the Ford Fusion - it's got anything you would want in a car with smashing good looks and quality. What reason is there to spend the extra money on a BMW? I have even seen on those Hollywood shows that a lot of celebs drive cars that aren't luxury brands, like Reese Witherspoon driving a Toyota Camry.
