Ford windstar battery dies overnight?
Unhook it when you are finished using it, & see if the battery will start it the next morning. That will tell you if the battery is at fault.
You nnight need to get another one
Check for a battery drain.
Probably need a new battery. How old is this one? They don't last forever.
Gee, that's too bad. So, what's your question about it? Without details we'd only be taking wild guesses.
Hi so it has become exhausted and needs to be replaced. Normal battery life is 3-4 years.
The go to an auto parts store and they will test your battery and charging system for free.
- Will a 2000 Ford Windstar lx fuse box diagram be the same as a 2003 Ford Windstar fuse box? I found a link about a 2003 but I need to know if it'll be the same for a 2000. If it ain't can anyone help me out with a link showing information like this but about a 2000 model? Thanks. http://www.fixya.com/cars/t11808484-2003_ford_windstar_fuse_box_diagram
- Ford Ranger 4.0, 172,000 miles rough idle when starting after sitting overnight or after 2-3 hours. Starts 1st crank, idles rough 1 minute? Or so and then smooths out and runs fine. New heads and gaskets. Cleaned MAF sensor, throttle body and air intake sensor, new IAC valve, new air and fuel filters, new PCV valve. No smoke coming from exhaust and No check engine light. Any ideas what's causing this rough idle?
- After driving Ford Ranger, high mileage, 10 miles and at normal operating temp, I park overnight on level concrete floor. I check oil level? Next day before starting and when I pull dipstick out, oil level is at full mark. I wipe the dipstick clean and re-insert and check oil level again, the oil level is down about 1/8th inch or so. I check it once more and get same reading. Is the crankcase full or do I need to add some oil? Just to be clear, since this is an older Ranger with over 170,000 miles, I use high mileage oil and I check the oil level regularly. It doesn't use oil after just 10 miles of driving.
