No. They just don't work well period which is why they aren't admissible.

She is a doctorate in psychology. She knows how to beat a polygraph.

If it proves anything it is that she believes that what she is saying is the truth, not that it is factually correct.

No but they are unrealiable for a reason, especially for events so long ago, the person has had years to normalize reactions, even to trauma.

The reason why polygraphs are not admissible in court is that they don't work and can't help you tell when someone is lying.

The police will tell you it's an investigative technique. That is they will tell the accused they failed the lie detector test so they might as well confess.
It's a trick cops use on stupid people.
