Ford Raptor or Dodge Challenger?

After graduating, I will be purchasing another car. I can't decide between the Raptor or Challenger, although neither are forsure, just best case scenario. Budget is around 25-30k. Which one is more powerful and the better bang for my buck? Year not specified.

Dodge Challenger for de win

You are comparing a big off road pickup truck to a 2 door coupe - really? Good luck finding a used Raptor for 30K - if you do it will be already heavily abused most likely since they start at 50K new.

You can't compare bang for buck - these are apples and oranges. One thing is for sure - you will pay a lot more to buy a drive a Raptor - they get horrible gas mileage, and I would guess insurance would be high also.

1 New raptor is over 50K
2 only reason to get challenger is HEMI
3 where do you live? Unless you have another daily driver raptor will go in snow, dodge will not
4 my choice is Camaro

I would choose the challenger but just something to think about, the challenger doesn't have great handling when compared to others. Once you get going pretty fast (also in the higher model Hellcat) it's best not think about anything except going straight.

Raptor is too big for daily use, specially inside the cities. However, the feeling when you drive one is amazing, it's like being omnipotent, nothing can stop you.
On the other hand, the Challenger is faster and easier to drive in traffic. When it comes to fuel consumption, neither is a good choice, even if the Raptor can make like 12 MPG (which is awful), the Challenger is only a little more economical.

In my opinion, you should look for other cars in that price range: new Focus ST or Golf GTI are fast, and perfect for daily use. Mustangs and Vettes looks better, and tend to be faster than Challengers. Old BMW's looks good, and sound very nice too.
