Ford F750 with Caterpillar engine has no heat? - 1
Added (1). Took off both heater hose lines and both have coolant flowing out of them. I think this is an issue but what is the cause?
Added (2). Thermostats seem ok. Coolant is full. Engine reaches normal operation temps of 180 range.
Added (3). Heater core is not restricted. The key here is I have hot coolant flowing out of BOTH heater lines going to the heater core. Should only have coolant flowing from one of them.
Bad hemostats. Low on water checks these this is where Id start.
Check the heater core to see if its blocked and no fluid actually flows through it. The heat door in the air flow may also be closed or blocked -- and i've seen one where the air duct was blocked because some rodent had built a nest in it.
If both heater core hoses are hot when the truck's warmed up and the heater is on, you have an air flow issue. Most likely the blend door. It could be stuck like Spock (rhp) said or the actuator is bad.
- My son has a 2000 Ford Taurus, there's not heat in his car? The car is equipped with a Auto Climate Control Unit. When the heat is turned on the blower motor does turn on as if there's no power to the blower. We have replaced the blower motor and checked all the fuses and relays. Could this be the Climate Control Resistor or the all in one controls on the dashboard? Or did we overlook something else?
- Kavanaugh has a legal background AND is being prepared by top notch lawyers for Monday's interview. Ford has no chance against? Them even if she tells the truth. Is she right to insist on an FBI investigation to support her claims? The SC can do with only 8 justices for a while.
- Is Christine Ford like one of those celebrity stalkers. She has imagined a whole history with Kavanaugh but has never even met him? I think Brad Pitt had a woman swear she was married to him secretly for 10 years.,… Ford seems like the same kind of of case
- I have a 2000 dodge caravan and the rear heat works great but the front heat blows cold? The blower motors all work fine, has new water pump and brand new coolant. The top vents in the dash blow lukewarm warm but if you switch it to defrost it comes out ice cold but the rear heat still blows super hot air. Coolant level is full. I've read about the blend door could that be the issue? Could a coolant line to the front dash be clogged? I'm a ford mechanic but kinda stumped and have never worked on a dodge.
