Ford Contour starting problem?
Turn the key and it tries to turn over but stops. I replaced the starter but it does the same thing.
Did you clean the battery terminals? If not do so. Buy a battery terminal cleaner (they are like four bucks) and get the battery terminals and cable connectors nice and clean. Otherwise it is a battery problem. Have it tested and fully charged.
- Car acceleration problem and idle problem. The car is a 2003 Ford Taurus? . When the car is running and in parked its making a loud consisted rev noise. However the rpm needle thingy is not moving. when i'm in drive the car acclerates on its own with the speed ever increasing. i did some googling and learned that it can be the TPS sensor or the idle air intake valve, among a million other possiblities.
- 96 ford ranger starting problem? I have a 96 Ford Ranger 4.0L 6cyl. Manual. It just started having this problem. It starts up good and runs good. After driving awhile and i go into a store and come back out to start it… It starts up then acts like it wants to die, i press the gass and put it into gear and drive, after that its good until i stop it again. Any ideas?
- My 1995 ford contour will start and run but will not move when i put it in gear it is a 5 speed fwd? I realized the other day it had less than a quart of transmission fluid and it was really light colored almost as if it was watered down and i'm wondering would that causze it to not move it will go into gear just won't move
- 09 ford fusion starting problem? I have an 09 ford fusion and it does not happen all the time but every once and a while i will go to start the car and nothing happens. And the only thing that turns on is the odometer… What can i do to fix that?
