Why does my car make the sound of locking it as I first start driving?
I have a 2012 Ford Focus, when I first start driving my car makes the noise that it does when your press the lock button twice in the remote. Anyone know the reason for this? It just started yesterday.
The battery in your key fob is going flat
Lots of cars do that. In the manual, it tells you how to program it to stop doing that if you don't like it. Mine is programmed to lock when put into gear.
- Why does my cold air intake make my car super slow? I bought a cold air intake for my 2015 ford taurus put it on and lost power alot of power. I didn't use the normal air intake tubing i stayed with the tubing that comes in the car and put a filter at the end and reconnected the one sensor. Now my friend did this to his car and it gave him more power i don't know why mine loses power
- Why did my car start and die when put into gear? Now it won't start at all? It's a cold winter day (below zero) Car started right up! I let it run for about 2 minutes, I put it in gear and it just died. I figured it's cold out, not real surprising, but when I tried to start it again, it won't start! - Why are my breaks locking up? I went to auto shop today and got new brake pads and rotors installed. I went driving and every so often my brakes would lock up as if I was breaking on ice. Does anyone know what could be wrong? I drive a RWD 06 Ford Ranger if that matters.
- Why are my brakes locking up on my 2006 Ford Focus while driving? The calipers and brake pads have been replaced, but the brakes still lock up to the point of smoking wheels and the smell of burning metal. Also, when the brakes lock up the air conditioning blows hot air. It's very weird. Any ideas?
