Why does my 2001 Ford Focus SE Wagon have a vibration?
I have new motor mounts, new dog bone mount in the rear, new plugs and wires, no check engine lights yet there's this "vibration" when I'm idling.
Sometimes bad sensors like MAF ones can cause an engine to idle rough. But usually you would have a check engine light.
These sort of annoying faults can be hard to trace .ideally a ford technician with usual tanner checks. Ought to be able to see if anything is untoward. Not all cults. Are covered though but experience and access to Ford support engineers. Will solve issues but often takes time and effort. A normal plug in scanner may not see if w have say an ejector pulse issue etc but a full diagnostic check at a dealer can look at all parameters.
- Why does the motor on my 2001 Ford Focus SE Wagon make a shuddering noise when I'm in idle? It sounds like it wants to stall but doesn't and my gas mileage is not good. The last mechanic put after market motor mounts on but it still does this. Any ideas? I love my little car with less than 65,000 miles on it and in good shape otherwise.
- What could be causing my 2001 Ford Focus SE wagon to be overheating? Reservoir is full of coolant, new radiator hose put on not that long ago but the needle is almost in the red when I drive it. Could this be the water pump? If it were the bottom hose wouldn't I be very low or out of coolant?
- I have oil in one of my cylinders on my Ford Focus Wagon Is it still safe to drive? I have a ford focus wagon and one of the four cylinders has oil in it. I was told by my friend who is a mechanic that he changed the spark plugs for me for free. It runs great and I hear no car noises. Any temporary fixes if it needs to be fixed? What should I do!
- I have a 2002 Ford Focus Station Wagon Se? It has 90k miles The car looks in good condition It has no problems and it drives perfectly The tittle is salvage How much should I sell this car for? I was thinking 3000
