What is the total loss threshhold (usd amount) for a 2014 ford focus with 64k miles
I'm with allstate. The car has 64k on it.
Hm
Only the insurance companies know. Most of the time, they total the car when the repairs are more than 50 percent of what the car is presently worth or it was involved in a major accident.
Those numbers are determined by your insurance company. It's THEIR decision, but normally they will "total" a car if the cost for repair reaches 50-75% of the "Fair Market Value" of the car, which is the WHOLESALE price that a used car dealer would give you on a trade-in for a newer car. You can find an idea of fair market value by using KBB.com or NADA.com
Typically it's 75% of the value of the car.

- How to decrease the amount of backlash in my Ford 8.8 rear end? I know I can change my ring gear and pinion gear but is there a way to shim the pinion gear? Any suggestions?
- How many hours of coaching has Christine Ford had so far and how many hours of total coaching will she have gone through before Thursday? Coaching from the hardcore Democrat socialists like her lawyer Katz that wears socialist t shirts at anti Trump rallies and her rabid associates paid for by Soros?
- Will a Ford Focus with 116K miles on it do a road trip from the UK to Germany? (2,500 miles)? It's got 116K on the clock, had a new Cambelt 3 months ago, four new tires two weeks ago and drives great, was serviced at the same time as getting the tires done but would it do the road trip? Going over 5 days. Please only answer if you know about cars, I'm not looking for uneducated opinions in the nicest possible way. It might be helpful to add that it's a 2002
- 2006 Ford Focus with 147k miles or 2005 Hyundai Elantra with 100k miles? Looking for a car for a student, I've received 2 offers, a 2006 Ford Focus for $4000 cash or a 2005 Hyundai Elantra for $4900 with $2000 down and the rest financed. Which would be a better deal? Go with the payment plan or scrap up all my cash? Both cars have been well maintained but can someone who knows cars tell me which would last longer?
