Can I upgrade my ZX3 into a drifting machine?
So I got my older brother's car and I've always wanted to built a drift car, but I don't know if the Ford Focus is a good place to start. Should I give it a try or should I sell it and buy something?
No. A Ford FOCUS is a front-wheel drive car. They make really lousy drift cars.

With FWD you would need some really cheap slippery rear tires to make it a drifter.
Is it rear wheel drive? Can't drift in a front wheel drive car no matter how many modifications you bolt on.
No that's a horrible car for drifting. Besides, do you really want to be spending thousands on tires?

- 1997 Ford Ranger 4.0 V6 won't shift into drive after being driven. Takes longer than should to shift into drive when first started? It will go in reverse fine. First thing in the morning when I leave for work, it will shift into drive on it's own, but takes a bit longer than it should. After getting it warm, won't shift into drive at all. I can shift down to 1st or 2nd, then back into drive and it will "pop up" into drive within a second or 2. I also have a ODB2 error P1744 (Torque Converter circuit).
- Will I be able to fit a washing machine in the back of a Ford Focus estate? Obviously not stood up, but on its back, front or sides… But wouldn't this damage the drum, or… What exactly? Is there a preferential side to lie it down on. Jeez!
- Should I buy a Ford Focus Zx3 or should I look for a different car? I'm a male going to college as a sophmore next semester (this car will be my first car). Should I buy a stick or an automatic (I don't know how to drive a stick at the moment, but I'm willing to learn)? What do you think would be more fun? Do you think a ford focus Zx3 is a good car for me or do you have any other car suggestions?
