Should i get a ford for a first car?
I was thinking on getting the Ford Focus but i have heard that ford are terrible plus my dad dosen't like them so maybe he will be mad at me if i buy it
P.S. And don't tell me that it would be my money that i'm spending to them it dosen't matter to them
Yes. I've had good luck with ford. I had a 1995 ford explorer very reliable, can stand long trips. 20 years old and paint still looks new. Handed down the car to mom she loves that car, used to always take it from me whenever needed which was like all the time lol.
my 2nd ford is a 2005 town car my favorite car, loved it ever since i took it off the dealers lot. Put 20 dollars worth of gas in it, lasts me the whole week i travel a lot. A tank lasts me 2 weeks costs me like $47 to fill the tank.
I had a Ford Taurus some years ago - it was in shop regularly. Never again.
2009+ Fords are very decent cars. It's the year where Ford had a sharp increase in build quality to a point where they could rival the imports and surpass that of GM and Chrysler. Tell that to your dad
If he still does not like it, settle with a Honda
There's a very good site called Product Review and you can find just about anything on it. I reviewed the Fiesta and the Focus before I bought my 2013 Fiesta. Just type in, 2009 to 2014 Ford Focus and it will give you peoples reviews on what you want to know. Also, you can do it with many other makes. The Focus is a very good car but I would steer clear of the autos.
Do what any savvy buyer does… Research, and lots of it to help you make your own decision about which vehicle is best for you while still fitting within your budget.
Don't forget to also price out insurance for some of the vehicles on your shortlist. Insurance for new drivers can be quite expensive and the price difference between similar models can be very different. That may also help you eliminate some vehicles from your list.
I would recommend a honda
It don't matter now and days. They all make cars of the same quality and caliber. Not one is better then the other. 12-15 years ago, i would have told you Honda or Toyota, but today don't matter. It's basically which car you like more.
- Should Sears and Ford HIRE Dotard McTiny as their CEO and get profitable again! If he can get Foreign Diplomats and American Lobbyists to? Pay $350.00/night to sleep in a tiny room in an old Post Office and keep it FULL and VERY PROFITABLE, don't you think that he could come up with an idea to save 40+ thousand American jobs?
- Remanufactured Ford Long Block Engine. When should I get first oil change? Recently had a Ford remanufactured 2.5L 4cyl long block engine replaced in my car. Other than obviously not beating on the engine, I'm curious as to when to get the first oil change. I've came across a few different answers ranging from 1k miles to 2.5k. I'm creeping up to 1k mile on the engine and would be grateful for insights.
- What car should I get for my first car? I'm 16 and about to buy my first car. I'm thinking about getting a 94 Ford Ranger (120k miles) with lifted suspension, off road tires, and a prerunner bumper. Would this be a reliable car throughout my high school years? Should I get that or should I just get a 2 door coupe?
- I'm in high school and about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car So far I have looked into ford mustangs, I have a choice between a 2007 ford mustang gt with a 8 cylinder motor with automatic transmission, or I can get a 2013 mustang v6. My question is which of the two cars is a faster and louder car cause I would like to show it off and have heads turn by its engine as I drive off on the street. Thank you very much about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car?
