New screen radio $1500 worth it?
I recently bought a 2009 Ford Focus and I just bought the car and want to put a 1.5k screen radio is it worth it? Family members tell me that's insane for a radio especially if the car is not mine yet. Would you guys do it? Or should I pass on this.
I think your family are right. 1.5k for a radio for a 10 year old car… Especially if you still owe money on the Focus.
$500 would be insane. $1500 is insane x3.
I would not do it.
No that is too expensive and especially in a 10 year old car. Keep shopping. You can get better deals on entertainment that is not fully usable by you whole you're driving. Your insurance policy will not respect the cost of that stereo and depreciation on stereo equipment is steep. You must be a pixie if you're comfortable sitting in that little car watching a screen for hours while parked. Pay off the car and see to it being well maintained.
Pass. The car is too noisy for an expensive sound system.
Foolish investment. If the money is burning a hole in your pocket, use it to pay down the loan.
Car is 10 years old. You, re wasting your money.
Why in the heII did you buy a 2009 vehicle? It's 10 years old buddy. Return the damn vehicle and buy a 2019 Dodge Charger RT Scat Pack.
Then, you can buy a $1.5k head unit for a new beautiful vehicle.
What's a screen radio? And no.
So… You are paying for a Really EXPENSIVE RADIO.
- What is the best touch screen stereo for a Ford Fusion 2007? I believe it is 7x4 where the stereo is now. I just want one where it will fit (obviously) and has aux jack. If there's one where you can watch DVDs that would be cool! Which ones do you suggest?
- What is the best touch screen stereo for 2004 Ford F150? I have a 2004 Ford F150 with the stock stereo. I want a touchscreen stereo that can do fm radio, bluetooth audio, aux hook up, and is just good quality and will last. It needs to be under $400. So what brand and model will work best? And also, once I get it, where can I go to pay someone to install the stereo for me?
- 2018 Ford F-150, 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 or 2018 Ram 1500? I'm looking to buy a new truck. Grew up in a Chevy family and have only owned a Chevy. Traded it in last year to buy something more fuel efficient since i was living in San Antonio. Now that i'm in a smaller town i wanna buy another but i'm undecided. I love Chevy but i wouldnt mind buying a F-150 or Ram if i know they are reliable enough to last me 6-7 years. Give me yalls thoughts and opinions.
- How to connect 2002 Ford Explorer factory radio wires to new radio? I took out my radio. I purchased a ford stereo connect but it doesn't fit to the factory wires which are now unconnected to the factory radio. Is there a way I can connect them directly to the new radio? I'm new to replacing radios.
