Is the first generation Ford Focus 5 door Hatchback enough for 5 people on short trips?

By short trips I mean 1-2 hours at most.

Yes for a short trip.

Five adults? No. Two or three adults and some kids? Yes.

5 very friendly and SMALL people.

5 Americans? Nope
5 East Asians? Maybe, it likely wouldn't a be pleasant for those involved.

Much depends on size of adults. Technically it can seat. 5 . However rear leg room is limited ( more suited to children) and width across seating in back makes a three passenger situation cramped.
if we're young. Slim such as students? Then yes it can easily be ok for. Couple of hours. Much like being in economy seats on aircraft. Bodily contact either side inevitable though a few inches more leg room on a plane.
if we thinking of buying one why not pop along to a dealer as a group and actually get in see if it fits!

Maybe, the three in the back would need to be close friends.

  • Is it safe to drive a ford ranger on the freeway for long trips? Can a ford ranger safely sustain speeds of 85-90 mph without any problems at all? I'm looking for a pickup truck that can haul stuff and is good for driving off roaming occasionally but I also what a pickup that has good performance as well. My question is can a 2007 ford ranger XLT 4.0 v6 5 speed manual sustain speeds of 85-90 mph or is that pushing the limits of this truck?
  • Had my ford transit broken into, door peeled in half, what would people recommend, van alarm or deadlocks and door strengthening? My van door was peeled in Half from top to bottom and cleared of everything inside. I'm thinking of getting an alarm that will go off if van is shaken or movement inside but I think this might be too late and the door damage done. Would I be better off getting visual locks for thief's to see then have my door reinforced inside out by my friend who's a welder.

  • Ford focus 2006 key short circuit? Oh so basically I got a second key cut and programmed to my car, but when I insert my key Into the ingintio, the key wouldnt work as in I couldnt use the remote and the led in the key wouldn't turn on, I've gotten the key replaced 3 times and now I grabbed my ford key that came with the car but that doesn't work either
