Just depends how you have looked after it. Most cars last until they die of neglect, or an accident.
If its running well and has been looked after correctly then it can go on for quiet some time yet. Will depend on own feelings about value of car versus trade in deal. We my not lose much value by keeping it and junking later? Compared to any trade in value if we get trouble free use out of it. If we have a tidy well looked after car with regular servicing, then it ought to carry on for many thousands of miles yet. Check out used car values and do the math about simply scrapping later etc
- Is a 2008 ford focus with 102,000 miles worth the purchase? I'm looking into used cars to buy for my first car and I found a used 2008 ford focus that I like with about 102000 miles on it. I've heard ford cars don't last that long, so is it a waste to buy a ford with that many miles? I'm going to be using it to drive too and from college, so mostly highway miles.
- Do you think buying a 2000 ford focus with 161,000 miles a good car purchase? For 1,000? I'm wondering if anyone will recommend, a 2000 ford focuse with 161,000 mileage as my first car, I recently got my drivers permit I want a car to practice my driving skills and I stubbled into the 2000 ford focus.
