How to reset the MyKey? Ford focus 4-door sedan 2010- i turned my only admin key into a mykey?
I was passenger in my car after I took a Xanax, which then caused me to whip out the car manual, read through every page of it for 5 hours, and then in 2 mins I apparently activated the mykey settings… On my only admin key. Not sure how that s possible, i followed instructions but it says you need the admin key to deactivate all mykeys. BUT THAT WAS MY ADMIN KEY.
needless to say i'm never doing Xanax again.
Locksmiths get good money for that sort of thing.
- Lost my only key to my car. It's an 02 ford taurus station wagon and has a chip in the key? Ordered and blank key. Going to get it cut then have it programmed. I have an extra key that will unlock my doors but won't start the car because it doesn't have a chip and isn't programmed for my car. Can I use my key that unlocks the door to get it cut and then use my vin to have them program it?
- Can I make my admin key the spare key? I have a 2015 Ford Mustang and I have two keys one is the admin and the another is a spare the admin key is all broken and it falls apart all the time is there a way to switch the admin privileages to the spare and make the spare key the admin key
- Had my ford transit broken into, door peeled in half, what would people recommend, van alarm or deadlocks and door strengthening? My van door was peeled in Half from top to bottom and cleared of everything inside. I'm thinking of getting an alarm that will go off if van is shaken or movement inside but I think this might be too late and the door damage done. Would I be better off getting visual locks for thief's to see then have my door reinforced inside out by my friend who's a welder.
- On my 2004 ford fusion my fob don't work the alarm sounds soon as I put the key into the door and turn it? If I pull the central locking fuse out the alarm stops so it's drivable but was wondering what could be doing it as I was thought to believe if I put the key into the ignition the alarm should stop but it don't any ideas would be most appreciated
