How long will my Ford Focus last?
I have a 2006 Ford Focus with about 91,000 miles on it. I'm the second owner and the first owner took super good care of it and had been in no crashes or anything. I typically drive about 5,000 miles a year. Does anyone have an idea of how long it will last, or how long these types of cars typically last?
Automobiles do not have an expiration date. Your car could last for a million miles, or it could blow up in your driveway tomorrow morning. A lot of that depends on YOU, and how well you care for the car. Service the car regularly and follow the manufacturer's recommendations for maintenance and it will last a lot longer.
What you wanna do is check for your Vehicle Manual in the glovebox and lookup your milage and what the Ford manufacture recommends be serviced first. They know what's needed to keep the car running. Another good place to keep up the service and milage is Edmunds.com. Another good tip is always let your vehicle warm up 35-60 Seconds and keep up the oili changes and check fluids
- How long will a chevy silverado last? Trading in my ford ranger to many problems and issues. Anyways I'm looking at some used silverados they all have over 10000 miles on them. Are they built like toyota tundra and tacoma where they will last forever. In the 90s my mom owned a chevy caviler and a chevy mini van both had the transmission blow quickly and they leaked oil all over the place. Are the trucks like this are they good trucks
- How long, on average, does a 70's Ford ranger F150 transmission last? Thinking about getting this truck. Guy selling it has papers proving he's had work done for the transmission, but that was 15 years ago. Would I need to worry about the transmission being any good because of age? He's asking 2500, says it drives great. No problems under the hood, just cosmetology.
