How do you open the instrument cluster in a 2003 ford focus SE to access the mechanisms for the gauges?
Needle is stuck. Did a test on the gauges and it was sticking trying to climb so I highly doubt it's a sensor. Just want to open it up to gain access to the mechanism so I can see if it's dirty or not. Add a bit of sewing machine oil so it moves more freely.
How about you stop being a redneck and buy something new. Like a Toyota Camry?
- Troubleshooting a 2003 Ford Taurus Instrument Panel Lights Outage? Over the course of a year a section at a time of my instrument cluster lights have gone out. All other: warning lights, interior lights and gauges all work fine. Sometimes if I hit the dashboard with my hand the lights will come back on. Any ideas on what I should be looking at?
- Where is the ground wire on a ford ranger instrument cluster? Instrument cluster died on 93 ranger. I'm told its the ground wire but I have no idea where its located. What I'm looking for is the specific location where the ground wire comes loose.
- Headlights, instrument cluster lights, tail lights, and dome light all stopped working at once? 1995 Mustang GT convertible, fuses are good, switch is good. I'm about to do a voltage drop test on it tomorrow but I wanted to see if you Ford guys knew something that I'm overlooking.
- Interior lights won't come on when the door is open on my 2003 Ford Windstar? I just bought a 2003 Ford Windstar, and the interior lights don't turn on when a door is opened. If we turn the switch all the way up, all the lights come on, but don't ever turn off. It's not associated with a door being open. Anyone aware of how to fix this?
