Headlight went out when I replaced turn signal bulb?

I have a 2005 ford focus. My front left turn signal was going out (blinking rapidly) and the back one did not work at all. I replaced both of these bulbs, but when doing so, the front left headlight went out. The turn signal works though. I was just wondering why this happened. Should I just get a new headlight bulb, or is there another issues?

Bulbs do not last forever. If you get 9 years out of them, that's good, but expect them to start failing in turn.

The faster flashing front one was because the rear one was out. Next time just replace the one that is out.
If the headlight bulb is easy to remove try changing it with the other side. If the problem goes to the other side replace that bulb. If it stays (The other side bulb should also work) it is most likely either a fuse or the earth wire

Unless you messed with the headlight wiring, it must be coincidence.

Next time you can just replace the signal light that is out, and the quickly flashing one will be OK
