Have a 2004 Ford Focus SE. Replaced the battery and the alternator and the dashboard battery light is still on?

I believe the Focus of that generation also has a charging fuse that you need to check. That car was notorious for having electrical issues, particular with engine grounding.

Did you determine that the battery and alternator were defective or did you just throw parts at it hoping to fix the problem? Poor battery connections can cause the same indications. A wire brush is often more effective than money.

Mustanger is 100% correct. It is foolish to replace parts without proving them defective first. Maybe there's a break in the cables, a poor connection or as said a fuse blown. Find out first.

Check the charging system fuse. It is blown out so charge can't get from the alternator to the battery. Replace the 5 amp fuse with a 15 amp one. Shame, $500 spent to fix a $1 fuse. Ford's better idea. Tears for you.
