A brief warning that resets itself could be something like a sticky, coked up EGR valve.
If you connect an OBDII reader the last fault should be stored and you should still be able to read the code, giving the exact cause.
I's always put new OEM spark plugs in a motor if the CEL was flashing!
- My radio won't stop scanning, doesn't stop on any station, why? It's a stock 93 Ford Taurus radio, only am fm and cassette, cassettes work but I don't want to use. How can I get my radio to work again? My antennae was loose but I tightened it but it still won't work!

- 2004 Ford Focus, stick shift. When I take it out of gear at a stop light, into neutral, the RPM goes up to nearly 3,000 RPM. Why? When first starting the car, just leaving it neutral, the RPM stays around 2,000. IT only raises when driving, as described above
