How many miles a 2003 Ford Focus should last?

I just hit 100,000 miles on my 2003 Ford Focus. I'd like to get a new car, but this vehicle is still running very well. I haven't had any major repairs with it either, mostly just maintenance. Does anyone know about how many miles a vehicle like this should last for?

I just hit 19000 on my 2002 still running fine with just a new belt being changed but i also had oil changed at the reg intervals

You would be the best to answer that…100K is a lot of miles --most of the car's good use is over

If you have done regular maitenance on it 125000 tp 150000 before you start getting lots of problems

Hi so it has reached that point now in it's life when most would just walk away 100k miles or 8 years is when they start to need new parts and when things start to go seriously wrong.

I have a 2004 ZTW (Wagon), and see years 2000-2005 with 250,000 for sale all the time… I got 170K and just did struts, tie-rod ends, rear shocks, couple ignition coils, thermostat, several hoses, radiator support bracket, head lights, and inner tie rods… I do have some rust out behind the bumper in the rear and the exhaust flange is about gone… Likely exhaust is next.
