Do I need new struts for my Ford Focus?
I think its just the bearing (s) as my ride is unchanged and the car has the same bounce when I push and release the front end down. Of course, I'm not a mechanic and don't think i'm capable of replacing struts… Just looking for a fix that isn't $800
I have a subtle click and my tires in the front have worn rough
Added (1). I meant the bearings in the strut. Everything else seems solid
There are no bearings in the struts.
Any decent suspension shop can put your car on a shockie tester.

- How to know if your struts are bad? I have a 2009 ford focus I had to change the front struts a few years back because i was ran into a side of a curb really hard. Anyway My car as been making a shaking noise for he past few months, i thought it was because he had to be realigned but I think there could be a bigger problem. Also there as been no excessive bouncing, noise dives, or leaking… What else could this be?
- 2012 Ford Focus 2.0 engine, with code P090C, Clutch B actuator control circuits low, does mean I need a new transmission? The car acceleration during driving is lagging, it's like it does not take off normally, and reverse goes out, until I turn the car off for a while then on again, it responds normally for a short time
