AC blower blew out at 47k miles?

My 2013 Ford Focus SE with 47,000 miles on it just had it's AC blow out and stop working. Is this a bad sign for the car and it's future? Any other ford owners have this problem?

Yes.

No. Stuff happens

I had a Chev that did this on a hot summer day at 24,000 miles while we were in the middle of nowhere. The fellow that fixed it said "Yeah, these go out all the time" I expected to do that every summer, but the fix lasted for 200,000 miles. Then the transmission stopped working.

It is not a sign of the whole car

Make sure to check the rear rubber brake lines that run to the rear brake calipers. The factory made them too short and they get stretched every time the vehicle goes up on a lift for an oil change. They fray where they attach to the metal brake lines just above the top of the rear tires. Take a flash light and you should be able to see them with out raising the vehicle. When they burst you have no brakes!

My uncle has one that the AC went out and the dealer quoted him a fortune to fix it. His is a 2012 or 2013.
