2008 ford focus se transmission stopped working, lost power steering, and yellow engine light went on?

I checked under the hood and everything looks fine. I started it back up and it ran fine and the engine light was no longer on. Should i be worried?

Hi yes always have it checked by a dealer as the diagnostic computer will have some codes in it's memory banks about what was wrong at the time.

I Just recently installed a new deck in my 93 ford tempo and it wouldnt turn on with the yellow wire connected, so we instead connected it with he red wire and that worked but the deck will no keep it's memory now, I'm not entirely sure if I'm giving enough information but feel free to ask me questions, thanks for the help! Not only down the memory not stay, but it very often shows an error alert and stops working completely and i have to reset the deck
  • Power steering went out after driving through water? I had to drive to work in a storm today. I drive a 2007 Ford Taurus 105, xxx miles, and I went around a corner and I completely lost steering in my car mid turn. This is the first time this has ever happened to my car. I slowed down drastically and then maybe 10 seconds later my power steering came back with a loud screech. Should I be worried about it going out again? I checked my steering fluid and it's topped off. Anything I can do to prevent this from happening again?
