Why does my PCV valve have a wiring harness that attaches to it? 2004 ford taurus 3.0l flex?
2004 ford taurus 3.0l flex. I pulled the PCV valve out to clean/inspect it and it has a wiring harness attached to it. I have never seen one like this, the replacement part is confirmed identical with the same harness receiver. I have had no luck searching forums or the internet to explain their purpose or what type of sensor may inside this thing.
Position sensor. One of these days they will be using feedback sensors on hose clamps.
I don't know what you are referring to but the PCV valve on a 2004 Taurus does NOT have wiring attached to it. It is a normal everyday type PCV valve that fits into a grommet and with a vacuum hose attached to the other end.
- Is there a stereo harness guide for a 2015 ford taurus? I'm trying to wire 2 10' kickers with a 600w amp into a factory stereo without having to replace any of the stock parts. I have a output line converter but I don't know exactly which wires, if any, that I need to splice in order to put the converter in as well as the ground wire for the amp. If any information that can help me get this project moving is greatly appreciated.
