Where to buy Energizer Car batteries, AC Delco and Motorcraft car batteries?

Never saw or hear of a Energizer car battery until I bought a Ford f150 a few years back, came with it; not a clue on where to buy one, did a search and did find website but the 'where the buy' locator will not function, even if i put 5000KM range, it says 'sorry, no results' … Called around, O'reillys, Napa, Auto value, etc and they don't sell those batteries or if they do in limited models, so where in the heck do I buy these type of batteries? Near Minneapolis MN

Aqui no Brasil.

Energizer automotive batteries are not sold in the United States, only abroad.

Simply use any applicable battery for your F-150 which has the required CCA recommended by Ford.

I've seen them out there. No benefit buying the "Energizer" batteries. Take a look at Menard's (huge hardware stores) and buy an Exide battery. Mine was way cheaper than the going rate these days and has a nearly nine year warranty. 3 years free, six years prorated. They have sales a couple times a year.

Any battery brand with the same CCA rating, terminals location and size will work on your truck. You do not have to get the same exact battery.

Delco, at GM dealers. Motorcraft, at Ford dealers. But, I've never seen an Energizer car battery, and if your car came new with it, go back to the dealer and ask for another one. Looks like they sell them all over Europe. Take a look at Interstate if you want a good battery.

I have an Energizer battery I need to replace but I can't find a place that sells them. It's 5 years old and I can't find my receipt from where I bought it to maybe get an adjustment and save a few bucks on a new one. Anyone else have the same problem?

  • Will the old style 10SI delco alternator charge in both directions of rotation? I built this alternator in 1985 and adapted it to my 1950 Ford tractor when I converted the tractor from 6 to 12 volts. It just failed recently. Originally, 29 years ago, I seem to recall having a problem with the rotation as far as charging is concerned. Whatever problem I had, if any, was fixed b/c it has been charging since then. Looking at the drive pulley, it rotates clockwise. Is this an issue I will have to deal with? Or will it charge in both directions?
  • Do some car batteries that would fit a 1995 Ford Taurus SW have a smaller body/core than others? I recall that the last time I had a battery installed at Les Schwab they had a rough time getting it to fit properly. Took nearly two hours. Would it be possible to ask for a battery that is physically a bit smaller this time--or are they all exactly the same size?
