Does anyone else own a ford ranger with a 3.0L flex fuel?
Or any mechanics that have worked on several? If so, I have a question for you. What are the automatic transmissions like in them? How does the engines hold up? What is the overall durability and quality? The reason I ask is because I bought 1 a month back and it has been a nightmare from hell. I'm doing a motor swap next week and I also have replaced alot of chassis parts. I need to know if I need to sell it or keep it. What is your experience with this ranger in particular? Below is a pic of it.
We had 6 of them at work in the fleet. All leased. These trucks are driven and not loved very much. But they give very little problems until they get 175000 to 200000 miles. They get the oil changed regularly and filters etc and that's it.
Looks like yours has had a hard life to begin with so I would expect minor problems unless it has been abused.
- Is anyone else growing tired of the worn out Ford Mustang? It seems like every couple of months there's another one. Come up with something completely new. Or bring back the Thunderbird. The Mustang is a chick car. These cars have no soul and no life in them period. Even the venerable Dodge and Chevy can't make a good car anymore.
- Does anyone own this car with this engine? Hi. I wondered whether anyone on here has or knows someone who has a 2011- Ford Focus 1.6 105bhp (petrol engine) and how does it perform, especially up hills?
- Does anyone own a 2012 Ford Focus? Does anyone on here own a 2012 (or 2011-) Ford Focus 1.6 (105) (petrol) and do you find that it struggles on hills?
