A/C and Heater not working in my 1997 Ford F-150

A/C and Heater not working in my 1997 Ford F-150

Check the fuses.

Jake, do you mean its not blowing or what, we need more info.

Heater not working doesn't give us much to go on.

Do you mean your blower motor is not functioning, Jake? If there's no air, using your AC, heater, of simply your vent, your blowing motor is not functioning. Cause would be either a bad blower motor relay or the blower motor itself has failed.

Hi so what you expect from a a now 21 years old truck is the real issue here. As it should be making beer cans by now.

Check out these:

My daughter has a 97 Explorer with same issues and found an easy fix--good luck

Need more info! Do you mean the A/C turns on but doesn't throw cool air; the Heater turns on but the air is cold? Several different possibilities depending on the actual circumstances.

Fuse box is the place to start your search.

1, Fuse box, but if you are blowing fuses, it could be Number 2
l2, Heater motor is either burnt out or dragging, Either way it needs to be replaced

I know that one possibility of a/c not working is if one coil on plug(cop) is unplugged, then a/c will not work
