Will my car fix its self?

It is a 2002 ford fiesta, it has a blown tranny with 25k miles, will it fix its self?

No you have to go get a new trannny

Nope. The only car capable of self maintenance is Herbie the Volkswagen bug. Your car, the Fiesta without repair is on near permanent Siesta.

Just how would you expect it will fix itself?

No. Only thing close is an ECM that senses how you drive and adjusts for best mileage. Nothing broken that isn't alive can fix itself, the law of entropy. Can try that snake oil transmission fix but its only temporary.

Is it actually Blown? Rolls at all? 25K? Sounds like it was rebuilt recently--may Still be in warranty.

Is shifting cable on? Is it loose? Possible it fell off so you can't get out of Park. There's a lockout switch preventing you from going out of P without its sensing foot pressure on brake. The wire may be loose.

Check the codes. Fords have computer problems, maybe a hard reset will fix it.

Check fluid, refill. Try it. If not. Change it and filter. Before you replace filter, drop pan and Look at valve body. Broken stuff? Look at connections to throttle body. Grab, shake things. Any loose?

I heard of one guy who had entire tranny rebuilt, Still wouldn't go. Priblem was a loose wire to carburetor!

Sadly no. Faults get flagged up and need repairs or replacing. Bite bullet and get it sorted.
