Why did my radio in my car stop working just out of the blue?
I have a 2012 Ford fiesta. And a couple years ago I was riding down the road listening to music and then all of a sudden this really loud static noise started to come out of the speakers and it kinda sounded like it was mainly coming from the passenger speakers but after the noise went away my radio has not worked. Other than 1 time when I was driving down the road and just randomly I just happened to push the power button and the radio played just like normal but as soon as I turned the car off it didn't work after that. I read in the manual about the meaning of a couple lights that appeared on my radio and the manual says that the radio just needs to be updated and that I was able to do it myself with the radio itself. But the only buttons that work are the buttons that my radio is not equipped with like Sirius radio and cd player. I've called multiple Ford dealerships and not one person that I've asked about this knew what I was talking about. So does anyone know what caused my radio to quit working and how to fix it?
Could be lots of things. You're better off with a car stereo/radio specialist than a general mechanic at the dealers.
- Why did my 2000 Ford Windstar just blow all off the tranny fluid out. But now its not leaking anything? I drove it with a trailer attached all day then I dropped the trailer off and drove home. When a was turning on to my street the car violently shuck but kept going I pulled into my drive way and looked under my car and big puddle of tranny fluid everywhere. So I filled it up this morning and drove it 75 miles and when I got back I was still full on fluid and nothing was leaking. So WHY?
- Why did Ford stop making the 7.3 liter power stroke? I can't comprehend why ford just drop the 7.3 liter and switch to the 6.0 and I heard bad things about the 6.0 and the 6.4 liter. So does anyone know why ford drop the 7.3? I hear the 7.3 are long lasting engines and are bulletproof so if they're such good engines why did they discontinue?
- My radio won't stop scanning, doesn't stop on any station, why? It's a stock 93 Ford Taurus radio, only am fm and cassette, cassettes work but I don't want to use. How can I get my radio to work again? My antennae was loose but I tightened it but it still won't work!
- My ford ka blows out hot air even when the dial is placed on cold(the blue bit)? This has been happening for the last couple of days also the cigarette lighter stopped working at the same time
