What are some cool things I can change about my car?
I'm a 16 year old girl and I got a new car for my birthday (2011 Ford Fiesta). I want to change some things about it but I don't really know what! It is red and I wish it was black but that is way out of my league for cost. I was just wondering if you had any great ideas that I could use to change up my car! Like you know how people tint their windows and stuff like that!
Plasti dip is a very cheap way to change the color of wheels, trims and almost anything on your car. However I would just stick to plasti dipping the wheels black and that's it because you don't want your car looking like a cheap ricer!
The coolest things you can do for that car 1) Keep it clean & shinny, that speaks volumes about the owner. 2) Be patient with yourself learning how to be a new driver. Being careless, getting into a wreck, ain't cool.
You can change color of your headlights, like purple! You can put those shields over the windows like the little caps forget what they called or the things sporty cars have on the back of the trunk. Black rims, or crome depends on your liking. Sometimes you can put lights underneath yor car.
Change the seat covers
Get yourself an OBD2 code reader so when the check engine light comes on you can see why it's on and not have everybody tell you to change the catalytic convertor that isn't bad. Get a Chilton's Auto Repair manual, so you can learn how the car works and be able to do simple maintenance. Don't mess with the headlights, don't put those stupid wagon wheel rims on it and nobody needs a thousand watt sub and amp, but upgraded speakers might be worthwhile. Take time to learn how to park properly and keep the car clean and waxed. Get a spare key and keep it on you, so when you get locked out you don't need a tow truck. Tint just makes the cops follow you because they think you're hiding something.

- What are some good things to do to my 2007 Ford V6 Mustang to get some more power and performance? I want to get more power and better performance out of my V6 and no I don't want to trade up for a V8. I inherited this car and its paid off and only has 11,000 miles on it. Not to mention sentimental value so please leave your hate for V6s for someone else. I just want to know some cost effective ways to get more out of my stang. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
